Our visit to Sinai Academy
Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in blouberg.It was very interesting there.When we went to the synagogue there was this bush in between the boys and the girls. the boys wore these things on their heads called a kippah.There was this man in the middle of the bush called a rabbi.Then next to him there was this girl called the Rabbitson.The rabbi is the person who talks and the rabbitson does the same thing.Then we saw the scrolls and they were very big and the scroll was called the Torah.Then we went to the older side of the Sinai academy.We watch videos about Judaism.And they showed us how to blow their horn and the horn is called the Shofar They showed us how to light the Jewish candle.Then a girl showed us how to wash our hands We have to pour water on our hands three times.There was also this boy who prayed for us in Jewish.They served us the Shabbat meal with grape juice and the bread called the challah bread.After when we ate the bread and drank the apple juice we watch mo
